Refreshing a popular permanent exhibit

Public Landing

Public Landing has long been a popular exhibit with visitors. The Science Museum of Minnesota team was hired to refresh the space and create new, hands-on ways to arouse curiosity and build insight about the lives of real people who lived in booming, mid-19th century Cincinnati.

As the graphic designer and exhibit designer, Sarah was responsible for creating the look and feel of the new printed graphics, as well as detailing out the new storefront experiences and sourcing props and furniture—many of which were antiques or custom made.
